Ham Salad Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb (about 450g) of cooked ham (finely chopped or shredded)
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 cup of Dijon mustard (optional, for a bit of tang)
1/2 cup of sweet pickle relish or finely chopped dill pickles
2 hard-boiled eggs (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon of fresh parsley or dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Crackers or chips (for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the ham: Finely chop or shred your cooked ham into small pieces.
Mix the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped ham, chopped hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard (if using), and pickle relish. Stir until all ingredients are well-combined.
Season: Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper to your preference. If you like a tangier taste, you can add a little extra mustard or pickle relish.
Chill: Cover the mixture and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
Serve: Serve with crackers or chips for dipping. Garnish with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of extra pickle relish for decoration.
Enjoy your delicious ham salad dip! You can adjust the proportions depending on your taste and preferences.
