Here’s a simple recipe for Homemade Blackberry Cobbler!

 

Ingredients:

4 cups fresh or frozen blackberries

1 cup sugar

2 teaspoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish or individual ramekins.

Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix the blackberries with sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Stir gently to combine, then pour into the prepared dish.

Make the batter: In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.

Top the berries: Spoon the batter over the blackberries, leaving some gaps for the berries to peek through.

Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Serve warm: Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgence!
