🥐 Cheesy Beef Stuffed Rolls

 

📝 Ingredients

 

1 can crescent roll dough or pizza dough

300 g (10 oz) ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar)

2 tbsp tomato sauce or pizza sauce

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

½ tsp Italian seasoning or oregano

1 tbsp olive oil

1 egg (for brushing)

Cook the filling

Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and sauté until soft.

Add garlic and ground beef, cook until browned.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

Stir in tomato sauce and cook 2 more minutes. Let cool slightly.

Prepare the dough

Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles or triangles.

Fill & roll

Place a spoonful of beef mixture on each piece.

Add shredded cheese on top.

Roll tightly and place seam-side down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush & bake

Brush with beaten egg.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.
