Homemade Banana Chips

These homemade banana chips are a simple and healthy snack that’s easy to make! With just two ingredients—bananas and lemon juice—you can create a crispy, naturally sweet treat that’s perfect for snacking, adding to cereals, or using as a garnish for salads and desserts.

Ingredients:

3 ripe bananas

1.5 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions:

Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Prepare the bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them thinly into rounds (about 1/8-inch thick) for crispy chips.

Prevent browning: In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of water. Dip each banana slice into the lemon water mixture to prevent browning.

Arrange on a baking sheet: Place the banana slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours, turning the slices halfway through. Keep an eye on them, as baking times can vary depending on thickness.

Cool and serve: Once golden and crispy, remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet. Enjoy them immediately or store them in an airtight container for later.

These homemade banana chips are a crunchy, wholesome snack with a fresh, natural flavor!
