Best Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

5 to 6 ripe bananas, sliced

2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

1 box vanilla wafer cookies

Instructions:

Prepare the pudding: In a large bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk together until the mixture thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

Layer the ingredients: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, arrange a layer of Nilla wafer cookies at the bottom. Then, layer the sliced bananas on top of the cookies.

Add pudding: Pour half of the prepared pudding mixture over the bananas and cookies. Smooth it out evenly.

Repeat the layers: Add another layer of Nilla wafers and bananas, then pour the remaining pudding mixture on top.

Top with whipped cream: Spread the thawed whipped topping over the pudding, smoothing it out to cover evenly.

Chill: Refrigerate the banana pudding for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
