Ingrédients
1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound Italian sausage (or meatballs)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it into pieces as it cooks.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low.
- Combine cooked spaghetti and sauce mixture. Toss to coat the spaghetti evenly.
- Transfer the spaghetti to a serving dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
