Hot Fudge Chocolate Pudding Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour into baking dish: Pour the batter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Add hot water: Pour hot water over the batter (don’t mix).
  6. Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is still gooey.
  7. Top with hot fudge sauce: Remove from the oven and pour hot fudge sauce over the top.
