2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup milk

½ cup melted butter

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp melted butter

½ tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp milk (add more for desired consistency)

½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

 

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a rectangular baking pan.

Prepare the cake batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Make the glaze: While the cake bakes, mix powdered sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Glaze the cake: Once the cake is baked, poke small holes all over it using a fork or skewer. Pour the warm glaze evenly over the hot cake so it seeps in.
